FSC's Nines of The Notches Golf Tournament

Friday September 23rd was the 13th Annual "Nines of The Notches" Golf Tournament to benefit FSC's Scholarship Fund.   This was your chance to play at two of the North Country's finest 9 hole golf courses in one afternoon:  9 holes at the private Profile Country Club in Franconia and 9 holes at the historic Sunset Hill Golf Course in Sugar Hill. 

FSC's Preliminary Calendar For Races Held at Cannon Mountain

Below is the list of races that FSC will sponsor at Cannon Mountain during the 2011-12 Season.  

To register for any of the OPEN races (New Years Open, Tecnica Cup, Hochebirge, and Pendoley), please complete the USSA Alpine Entry Card and send, along with payment, to the FSC Race Secretary, PO Box 462, Franconia, NH 03580.

For the BWL Qualifier, JII Championships and NHIAA Meet of Championships, coaches will pre-register their athletes.  Payment will be due at registration the day of the event.

Please remember to bring athletes' NHARA and USSA membership cards for race registration.

January 1st  New Years Open

This slalom race is open to the following age groups: J6, J5, J4, and J3. To be held on Gary's Trail.

Race starts at 9:30, registration opens at Ernie's Haus at 7:30.

January 21st  Tecnica Cup

Part of NHARA's season long Tecnica Cup series, this race is a chance for J1/2 athletes to show their slalom skills and gain valuable points toward earning the Cup.

To be held on Gary's Trail. Race starts at 9:30, registration opens at Ernie's Haus at 7:30.  

February 3rd  High School Race

February 5th  BWL Qualifier SL

This slalom race is the second of three BWL Qualifiers for the J5 and J4 racers in the Northern Division.

February 10th  High School Race

February 15th  NHIAA State Meet

February 18th JII ChampionshipSL, February 19th JII Championship SL

A two day state championship event for NHARA's JII athletes.  See the best young talent in the state compete in Slalom on Gary's Trail and Giant Slalom on Middle Ravine/Turnpike.

February 26th HOCHEBIRGESL

The Hochebirge is the oldest continually run ski race in North America.  It is open to USSA Masters.  To be held on Gary's Trail.  Race starts at 9:30, registration at Ernie's Haus opens at 7:30.

March 7th NHIAA MEET OF CHAMPSGS/SL

This race, including both slalom and giant slalom runs, is open to high school athletes from all four NHIAA divisions.  Qualifiers from this race will advance and represent NH at the Eastern High School Championships in March.

March 18th Pendoley Open SL

 In memory of Mark Pendoley, Cannon local and great friend to the Franconia Ski Club.  The Pendoley is always a great spring fun race that allows your younger athletes to show off all their hard work from the season.  This slalom race is open to the following age groups: J5, J4, and J3.  Race starts at 9:30, registration at Ernie's Haus opens at 7:30.
