JI/JII Staff
Head Coach - Eric Price Eric brings over a decade of coaching experience to FSC and is a USSA Regionally Certified Coach, having attained this certification at the National Coaches Academy in Mammoth, California. Eric continues in his role of Head Coach for the JI and JII athletes, a position he has held for xx years. Eric works during the week with the Holderness School racers. He and his family live in Franconia where he runs his own company in the off season. Dan Marshall Dan has decades of experience coaching ski racing and also coordinates the Eastern High School Championships, an event he created. Dan is very active in the ski racing community; he serves as the President of NHARA and is an active member of the NHARA Coaches Council. Bruce "Smed" Blair Smed returns to the JI/JII ranks this season, bringing both decades of domestic and international alpine ski racing experience along with a true passion for the sport of snow skiing. His enthusiasm and experience will help bring our JI/JII program to a new levels of success. Holderness Coaches - Our JI/JII staff also includes the Holderness School coaches. Craig Antonides, Head Coach for Holderness, brings decades of experienced coaching at the highest level. Craig is also an avid cyclist and he represents NHARA as the Head of Alpine Competition Committee. Ben Moody is a professional downhill mountain bike racer in the off season and he is one of the most enthusiastic and talented skiers on the FSC staff. When he’s not on the hill getting the best from his athletes Ben is either on his bike or in the woods ripping the latest secret stash of powder. Jeff Harold has been coaching for over 10 years and brings experience from both the local level to Regional FIS events. He still enjoys racing himself, putting on his GS suit whenever he can and competing in many local race leagues to keep it fresh. Jeff also runs his own company in the off season. Janice Dahl is a Collegiate All American from UNH and loves to ski more than anyone out there on the hill! She is a very gifted coach with many years experience. She is also a teacher at The Holderness School. Lori Ford has been a force in New England ski racing for decades. She has most recently been coaching at both The Holderness School and Okemo and she brings an amazing, positive and can-do attitude to the hill every day. Lori also owns and runs her own clothing company.
JIII Staff
Head Coach - Jake Manseau Jake continues as our Head JIII Coach working full time with both FSC and Holderness athletes. Jake is a passionate and talented coach who has worked with athletes from the FIS level to local children’s racing. He has been involved with several US Team National Development projects and is also a certified sports conditioner. Jake and his family live in Thornton and when not skiing he operates his own contracting business. Allyson Newell Allyson is a Collegiate All American who earned her way to race at the US Nationals. She loves the sport and is a very dedicated and passionate coach. In her first year with FSC she got down to work with the JIII State Group and brought home the NHARA State JIII Championship trophy. When not skiing Allyson continues to further her education. Jody Lozeau Jody will be continuing with the JIII staff this winter. Jody has coached for decades and has experience working with every level of athlete. His knowledge, experience, professionalism and keen eye for speed are invaluable assets to our coaching squad.
Dave Roberts This is Dave's, (Coach Dewey), 2nd year coaching JIII's for FSC/Holdernes. For the eight years prior, Dave ran the BWL Program at Loon, leading them to their first NH State Title in 2008 and five top two finishes since 2006. Prior to Loon Race Team, Dave coached for the WVBBTS program for six years. The former #2 skier for the National Championship Plymouth State University Ski Team and a member of the Plymouth State University Athletic Hall of Fame, Dave still actively competes on the US Masters circuit, winning bronze medals at the 2009 and 2006 US Alpine Masters National Championships in Slalom. He is also a twenty year member of the Ski Club Hochebirge, based in Franconia, NH.
Ryan Boissonneault
Ryan helps out the JIII ranks for Friday Training. Ryan is a very knowledgeable coach who relates incredibly well to his athletes. His keen eye for technique, years of experience and love for skiing compliments the staff very well. Ryan will be responsible for the Friday program, working alongside Jake and Steve to continue our great tradition of the best quality training for our athletes. Ryan recently travelled to Europe and was on the hill at Wengen, Switzerland for the Lauberhorn and Kitzbuhel, Austria for the Hannenkahm. Off season he runs his own painting company.
JIV Staff
Head Coach - Stephen Roberts Welcome back "Bucket" as our Head JIV Coach! Steve has been coaching for more than 15 years and is a Regionally Certified Coach. He has been involved with the club for many years, including experience here as an athle
te in the 1980s. He’s been involved with developing some of the greatest talents the Club has produced, including former US Team member Caitlin Ciccone. He is a very enthusiastic and motivating coach who has a well known history for getting the most out of his athletes. Steve also runs the Profile High School Ski Team. Ivar Dahl Ivar is well known for his skiing exploits, including All American status at UNH and athletic experience at events such as the US Nationals and the World University Games. More importantly, Ivar is extremely passionate about the sport and is very excited to be working the JIV atheles. When not coaching, Ivar is a Sales Rep for Blizzard, Tecnica and Slytech.
Ray Humphreys A new comer to the FSC JIV ranks, Ray joins our coaching team from Crotched Mountain. Ray's love of ski racing has carried through all the way from his days as a junior racer, up through high school and college racing, and into a professional coaching career. He has the great knack of being able to pull the best from each racer, celebrate their accomplishments and help foster a deep respect for teammates and the sport.
Ryan Welch Ryan grew up on the race circuit in Vermont. He attended Stratton Mountain School and then raced for Plymouth State University and skied in the USCSA Nationals for three years. Ryan has coached at the JI and JII levels at both the New Hampton School and the Gunstock Ski Club. His experience includes working at both the F.I.S. Eastern Cup and NorAm level where he coached N.H. native and current U.S .Ski Team member Warner Nickerson. Ryan is joining FSC as a coach for the first year and resides in Thornton, NH with his family. In the off season, Ryan is the C.F.O. of a Contracting firm in Plymouth, NH.
Vince Bell Vince has nearly 20 years of coaching experience and was also a successful alpine ski racer in college. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great demeanor with his athletes. He has coached our JI/JII athletes for many years and has also coached at summer camps in Saas Fe, Switzerland. Vince is a terrific technical coach and will help each of our JIVs reach their full potential. When not on the snow, Vince works as the Head of Property Management at The Owl’s Nest Resort.
JV Staff
Head Coach - Lisa Segal Lisa is a PSIA examiner with a lifetime of skiing experience. Her knowledge of technique, and more importantly, her ability to teach it effectively, has had a huge impact on our BWL program. Her role as Head Coach is one of the most important positions in our program. Setting the stage for future success for our athletes is a task she takes very seriously. When not skiing, which isn’t very often, Lisa runs her own business. Cory McKim Cory brings his unique style of motivation and energy to our youngest athletes. His record of success speaks for itself. As an athlete he was a State Team Member, Junior Olympian and state Slalom Champion. As a coach, he is a true motivator, getting his kids to ski their best when it matters the most. He is also very active as a soccer coach in the fall. Off season, Cory runs his own painting business.
Rob Hamilton Rob joins the FSC coaching roster with years of exceptional coaching experience. He started his coaching career at Crotched Mountain working with J4s and J5s. He then moved to the Woman’s Ski team at UNH, leading them to the NCAA Division 1 nationals. Most recently, Rob worked with Cranmore Mountain’s highly respected BWL program. He has a deep understanding of the technical/tactical progressions of ski racing and how to create a fun, learning environment for young skiers.
Chris Price Chris has coached at FSC for many years now, including the JI/JII and JIV programs. He brings a lifetime of ski experience and great ski ability to our JVs. Chris loves to ski and has had a very positive impact on the success of his athletes. When not on the snow he works in the technology field.
JVI Staff
Head Coach - Bob Ganley
Bob is a level 3 PSIA ski instructor with over 20 years of coaching experience. He enjoys working with FSC's youngest group of athletes and feels passionate about establishing strong fundamental skiing skills at a young age. Bob and his athletes can be found enjoying the terrain all over the mountain, switching between directed exercises and supervised free skiing. When not on the mountain, Bob works in the Technology field.
Tiffany Ogburn-Beers
